Linksys brought a new router called MR8300, which is claimed to be able to face the increasing entertainment needs of consumers who use internet connections.
Linksys claims the MR8300 has a ping that is 93% lower than its competitors’ products in a multi-user environment. This router is a tri-band router equipped with Intelligent Mesh technology, which was previously available in Velop Mesh routers.
MR8300 is equipped with 4 Gigabit LAN connections that support devices such as gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, Smart TVs, or streaming devices to the internet network. The ability to automatically update software is also a mainstay feature of the MR8300 where the latest features will be updated automatically.
Designed with 4 antennas, and has a 716 MHz Quad-core processor, it allows users to have a wider internet range so that it can improve overall network performance and intelligence that can process all internet connection activities at home.
“Linksys mission to bring the MR8300 is to meet the needs of internet users who still like routers in traditional forms, equipped with more ports for cable connections, and make it possible to enjoy Mesh Technology to get a smooth and reliable connection.,” said a top official from the company.
“This MR8300 is a hybrid router that combines high-performance features such as the Max-Stream series with Intelligent Mesh from Linksys Velop Mesh WiFi which is award-winning and globally welcomed,” he added.
In the “Tolly” benchmark test, the MR8300 has 71% better performance than competitor routers in a dense connection environment that is tested with 6 mobile devices running games and with 21 active (and standby) devices connected to the router.
MR8300 is claimed to achieve a connection response (ping) of 7.3ms compared to competitor routers in load-laden conditions with game connections and background applications. As for the entertainment, the inclusion of MU-MIMO and Beamforming technology work in tandem to ensure that high-performance devices such as laptops, phones and Smart TVs can be connected to the internet through a faster and more stable Wi-Fi path.
MR8300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi and MU-MIMO technology were made to connect every Wi-Fi device (laptops, tablets, phones, Smart TVs, game consoles, music streams) at home automatically and together.
This allows the MR8300 to provide Wi-Fi speeds of up to 2.2Gbps which is very important for enjoying streaming movies/videos, video chats or when using smart home devices simultaneously. These advantages make the MR8300 the best technology available at every user’s home to make home entertainment devices work optimally without any hassles.
